Register for the North End Central Woodward
May 14, 2011 8:30 - noon
The Arden Park – East Boston Historic Association and the Historic Boston Edison Association have joined forces for the Woodward Avenue Action Association’s “Clean the D” event. Join our team of volunteers as we roll up our sleeves and dig in to make a difference in our North End Central Woodward community!
On Saturday May 14 from 8:30 am – 12:00 noon, the Woodward corridor between Clairmount and Calvert is one of five targets for “Clean the D”. Projects at the entrances to neighborhoods along this stretch of Woodward will include beautification and clean-up by weeding flower beds, removing graffiti, picking up trash and more, so bring your tools and dress for work.
A continental breakfast will be provided to volunteers and everyone will be entered in a drawing to win valuable prizes. If you are interested in participating in this very important project, please register by providing your contact information below and your preference for the neighborhood in which you'd like to work.
“The Woodward Avenue Action Association (WA3) is an economic and community development organization working to enhance and improve the visual, economic, functional and historic character of Woodward Avenue through a local and regional effort.
